Creativity Coaching

What are the top needs of a Creative Adult?

  • Help re-committing time and resources to the creative process
  • Permission to follow their heart, until they can give it to themselves
  • Fuel to re-ingite their creative spark
  • Encouragement to do the fun work AND the difficult work
  • Challenge to better their craft, to invest in their gifts, to go public with it
  • Accountability for action, until they can hold themselves accountable
  • Help defining and finding their audience, becoming more aware of who they are creating for
  • Setting limits on what they will do – having freedom to create art that is an expression of their true self
  • Help with the business-y side of creativity (setting a fair price for their labors)
  • Help overcoming immobilizing fears (fear of mistakes, fear of failure, fear of what others think, fear of success)
  • Encouragement to “be brave upon the rocks”
  • Help celebrating the journey and living in the present– especially when the future can feel so far out
  • To learn how to loosen up – to not ride the creative ebbs and flows stiffly – flexibility and resilience practice
  • A support group of other creatives – kindred creative spirits – a community of giving and receiving strength

How I Help

I help Creative Adults re-connect and re-commit to their art, to their gifts and talents.  I help you kickstart your courage and live the adventure you were put on this earth to share.  As your coach, I help you find sustaining catalysts for your calling, so that one day you won’t need me anymore.  But until that day comes, I am there for you, for your gifts, for your art.  To help you lean into the curves, master your fears, and twist the throttle.  To help you create that which you were put on this earth to create.

I love working with creative adults for whom mission is more important than money (but money is still important) – with people who desperately want to reignite their soul, bring beauty to the world, and defy convention.  I love helping angels-in-the-rough saddle up and go pro.

I especially love working with creative adults who work with words or music or “big ideas” (or all three).  I love working with aspiring and accomplished speakers, writers, and musicians; preachers, therapists and coaches.  In addition to coaching, I am an award winning speaker, I perform my own music, and I hold several patents.  I am a creative adult and a coach – and I love it.
